Expo Marketing

The More We Tell; The More You Sell...

And the sooner you book your space at Recreation Expo, the sooner we can start to promote your products and services to your target audience!!

The following comprehensive and targeted marketing campaign was implemented in 2011 to ensure the success of this event. Media partners included reputable print and radio networks; supported by promotions in industry specific magazines and websites, online email campaigns, outdoor signage, social networking websites, posters, flyers and grass-roots marketing initiatives.

2010 Media Partners

More FM, The Press and What Now supported the expo in 2010 to ensure that event messaging reached a diverse and potentially new audience. 2011 media partners will be announced soon.

The Press: Escape– a 4 page wrap around The Press Escape section as well as a comprehensive campaign commencing three weeks prior to the event.

MoreFM have been a key stakeholder of Recreation Expo since it's inception. There is an excellent synergy between their listenership and the Expo target audience; which will see this relationship continue into 2011.

What Now– the kids TV show What Now? broadcasted live from their Burwood Park in Christchurch on Sunday 19th September and promoted Recreation Expo. Main focus will be the Britz Rock Climbing Wall and other fun related activities for kids.

Industry Endorsement

  • Department Of Conservation
  • BikeNZ
  • Fish & Game NZ
  • Mountain Safety Council
